Texas, The New Adventure

We have finally arrived to Texas.

So I will start off with an apology for not updating ya'll sooner. It sure has been a whorl wind of life. With God blessing, the end of last year Miguel received a job offer to San Antonio. So, after long discussion we decided for our future interests to accept it and moved. Even though we were sad to leave our amazing neighbors, friends, and memories in Onalaska, WA. We were on to the next adventure as life brings us. So that means we had to do many things for the new business as well. This was and is a learning curve. Before I get into that lets tell you about the trip.

So, as moving goes for us, we had to start packing and get the house on the market. Well, we couldn't get this all done so fast without help from our amazing friends and neighbors, or should I say our chosen family. They helped us so much that we could never express it enough. As Military moves goes( for us anyways) Miguel has to report to work first and I usually hang back and finished things at the house and get it on the market and deal with the movers. Well, The packers showed up first , which was nice to have Miguel there to go though the garage items. As we worked to get everything ready to go after the packers left, we had to take a little detour to the ER the week before he was about to leave.

Miguel decided he was needing a break, so as he was in the ER we found out he was having heart failure due to a valve issue. Not to get to personal, that is when our plans had to change. So, with medication working doctor said he can report to work and we need to report to doctor San Antonio asap. So, we had a time line that just go moved up really fast. Miguel needed to leave and a very close friend said he can go and haul 2 of our cars down so they went out to family's in Oklahoma to take half the load first. Well we were going to do 2 more trips but due to the situation now we had to move that to 1 trip.

So stressing how I was going todo that( thanks again to family) they flew up to help me drive the other truck with our camper, as I drove the farm truck with last items and our critters. On the road we went to Oklahoma. So, after a few bumps and bruises ,we finally arrived and got to relax and enjoy time with family over Easter. Finally we came down to Texas with the Camper and started to look at houses. The picture above was at one of the houses  we loved. But, we settled on a different house (which we love). We have now 10 acres in a little town outside of Natalia, TX that we love.  God has blessed us again and we couldn't be more thankful.

So now that we finally have internet I can start working on the business and getting all the paperwork transferring to Texas. I figured I would get on here and update while I can. There are some events I can attend while working on this so keep a look out on our Facebook were we will be. We are still dealing with Miguel's heart valve but that will be over soon. We ask to keep us in your prayers. So after this update I will let you know how everything will progress with our little shop. we will do some lives as I work and get the office put together and work stations. Make sure you stop in and say Hi. Thanks everyone for the support and keep a look out for new content on our Tik Tok, Facebook , and Instagram now that we have internet back. So I can finally get back to work. Have a Blessed week from the O'Dwyers Family.
